Welcome to Dorm-Chatter! Your go-to source for weekly videos and articles on college sports, connecting fans worldwide!

Dorm-Chatter has been my brainchild now for years, as I have been a huge sports fan since I started kicking in my mother’s womb. I got my start in athletics when my parents registered me for baseball. After properly getting myself grounded for riding my bike way past the acceptable boundary to watch a friend play football, my parents registered me for that sport as well. Watching both the winter and summer Olympics allowed me to diversify my sports intake and opened my mind to the vast world of athletics competition. This carried me to a level of fandom that would only grow larger over time.

I was fortunate to play and watch a great deal of college sports after high school. It was during this time that I realized I wanted a career that would keep me involved in athletics, and in particular, covering the intercollegiate level. I studied broadcasting, focusing my attention on the college game, including a bi-weekly radio show where I was a one-man band. I got the opportunity to cover both winter and spring seasons, along with different stories in sports news. This laid the groundwork for what Dorm-Chatter was to become.

Sports coverage a bit down since those days back at school. Broadcasters rely too much on the energy in the stadium and neglect their role in bringing the excitement of an event to the audience. Though time has passed, the desire to continue with Dorm-Chatter has never left my heart. As my knowledge and understanding of numerous sports has increased, I’ve gained a clearer vision on what I want Dorm-Chatter to be. It is no longer just a dream to cover the sports that I love, but rather a calling to share on a subject matter I know is near and dear to many hearts. And that has become the mission of Dorm-Chatter.

With this platform, Dorm-Chatter will be used as a vessel to showcase the fervency I have for sports. As a fan, I don’t just enjoy watching the games, but I immerse myself in the events. The intention of Dorm-Chatter is to showcase a knowledge and passion for college athletics, giving informed perspectives on the news and decisions on all things college sports. Videos that show why Jason White’s teammate deserved the Heisman over him. Articles showing why the Big Ten should have chosen Utah over Washington. Engaging with fans on why Georgia and Alabama will miss out on another national championship game. The ultimate goal for Dorm-Chatter is this: for every person that decides to visit, read or listen, they will leave that moment feeling they have gained information, perspective, and joy from the very thing they chose to take in.
